Dome full insulated and waterproof sealing jobs

For charify how the geodesic dome is fully insulated, also about waterproof solution.
Outer Cover Sealing
The PVC outer cover has 2 layers at its exterior bottom area. One layer is to be sealed on the ground by aluminum strips (included in the dome kit), and another layer is simply to cover it. Same way for the entrance area.
Flooring Waterproof Solution
Use PVC foam board or other moisture-resistant and anti-corrosion material, place it in between the interior flooring and the platform (deck, concrete, etc.), so to make the dome’s interior flooring area higher than the platform. We have PVC foam board available which you can find in the price list’s optional accessories section.Note: As for decking, make sure it has gaps so in rainy days most water would be drained.Place a moisture-resistant and anti-corrosion material layer under the interior flooring. We have PVC ground sheet/mat available in the optional accessories list. It comes with eyelets so you can attach them directly to the structure.
Other
The other accessories like solar extractor fan, glass window, stove jack, etc. already have rubber, metal seal strips for waterproof purpose. The dome kit also comes with sealant so you can seal the accessories’ edge/gap so the dome can be fully insulated.As for the door area, the entrance comes with a gutter awning so when it rains heavily the water would flow directly towards the 2 sides instead of pouring down along the front door eave.
In conclusion, the dome itself is already waterproof, just for the decking/flooring you will need to do some extra work.Hope it helps! Any questions please feel free to let us know.
